It doesn't matter what 'label' your eating disorder carries. Nor does it matter whether you are 16 or 60. Whether the difficulty is described by others as anorexia, bulimia, binge-eating, obesity, comfort eating - or something else, it's important to consider how it affects you personally; and to develop ways you can improve your relationship with food - and yourself - to increase self esteem, to overcome fear, and to give you real control over your eating and your emotions.

What is important is the present - and how it influences your future. Shirley has a special interest in helping people with eating disorders. She combines tools from other therapies but it is hypnotherapy that makes all the difference. Clients maintain commitment and motivation to change because they start to feel better quickly. An increased sense of calm and a break from the constant barrage of food related thoughts, can help increase self belief, confidence and provide the possibility of change.

Eating DisordersYou can change - because you want to.

Shirley is experienced in working with adolescents and is CRB checked.
