Sports Performance
Shirley's personal sporting experience helps her get inside the mindset of the competitive sports person. She spent her teenage years as a competitive swimmer and struggled with the mental commitment to achieve, despite being told she had the talent for Olympic standard competition. Then, in her 40's, she finally started achieving sporting goals she wanted, without the usual procrastination, negative self talk and performance seizure. She acquired a black belt in Tae Kwon Do, a gold medal in county butterfly swimming, and taught herself to run, none of which she had previously believed possible.
Her experiences are brought to bear on helping competition sports people to apply the talent they have - and use it on the big occasions, because they begin to match desire and commitment with belief and performance. Shirley has a keen interest in all sport - from football and rugby to tennis, swimming and cycling. Because of her empathy with sports performance issues, she can help you - or if you are a manager or agent, your team - to focus on what you really want from the future.
